The meetings, held in the presence of the President of SDM, Rogério Gouveia, and members of the Board of Directors, Marina Pimenta and João Machado, provided an opportunity to present the conditions offered by the International Business Centre of Madeira (IBCM) as a tool for attracting foreign investment and supporting the internationalisation of companies.
During the meetings, the main features of the IBCM regime were highlighted, namely its full integration into the European Union’s economic area, the stability and legal certainty of its tax and regulatory framework, as well as the set of competitive incentives that position the Autonomous Region of Madeira as a strategic platform for the development of international business.
From their part, the Ambassadors emphasised their commitment to enhancing the awareness of Madeira among the business sectors of their respective countries. In turn, SDM reaffirmed the company’s willingness and availability to support investors interested in exploring the opportunities offered by the Madeira International Business Centre.
