S.D.M. releases Madeira’s International Business Centre Investment Guide for the iPhone and iPad

The application called "Invest Madeira," was developed for the operating system iOS (iPhones and iPads) with the aim of presenting the advantages of Madeira as a modern and internationally competitive business center and to provide investors with a support guide to facilitate the process of investment in Madeira.

Over the 25 years as concessionaire of Madeira’s International Business Centre (IBC), SDM – Sociedade de Desenvolvimento da Madeira, S.A. has globally promoted Madeira’s IBC using a broad and diverse set of resources, tools and actions, intended to remain at the forefront of new technology and marketing trends and to objectively establish its main values of sophistication, modernity, efficiency and professionalism.

Following this strategy, SDM, in collaboration with PwC and the site Acontece Madeira, decided to invest in a new promotional channel, with the development and release of an application for mobile platforms, entirely dedicated to the investment in Madeira’s IBC.

The iOS (iPhone and iPad) application, called "Invest Madeira," was entirely developed in Madeira with the aim of presenting the advantages of the island as a modern and internationally competitive business center and to provide investors with a support guide to facilitate the process of investment in Madeira. As such, the application covers all relevant areas with tax, legal and operational information, thus representing a starting point for a broader understanding of the reality of Madeira’s IBC.

In order to facilitate its use and make it more intuitive for the end user, the application was divided into four main areas:

• Madeira;
• International Business Centre of Madeira;
• Portugal;
• European Union.

Within these sections you will find useful information and detailed guidance on how to process your investment in Madeira’s IBC, with descriptions of the main procedures and practical aspects required to successfully set up in the island.
