Madeira hospitals, health centres and private clinics, pharmacies, English schools, Portuguese teaching for foreigners, public and private schools and nurseries, university and technical schools, utilities (water, electricity, gas, cable TV, internet, telephone connection). Read more

Periodical tax returns must be submitted online at www.portaldasfinancas.gov.pt
 

• Periodical income declaration: if the fiscal year corresponds to the civil year, until the last working day of the month of May. Otherwise, five months after the term of the fiscal year;
• Annual Simplified Company Information (IES): if the fiscal year corresponds to the civil year, until the last working day of the month of June. Otherwise, six months after the term of the fiscal year;
• Periodical VAT declaration: for a turnover of or above Euro 650,000 in the precedent civil year, until the 10th day of the second month following the one to which the operations refer to. Otherwise, until the 15th day of the second month following the quarter to which the operations refer to.
